About Us
Johnson City Families is a loose affiliation of families who love the Lord and love one another and hope to provide regular, wholesome opportunities for faith, family, friendship, and fun to be enjoyed by all. Our events calendar is not limited to activities hosted at Steele Haven alone, so if you have an event you would like to have listed, please contact us and let us know about it!
Beginnings
My friend, Ben and I were sitting in our library, the only remotely quiet place in my home with no fewer than 15 kids laughing and singing and probably having a squabble or two, when he said, “Yeah, we’ve been here for a few years now and I am still learning about new families in the area that I’d like to get to know. I wish there was some better way to do that!” and with that seed planted, Sarah and I decided to open up our property for a monthly event where families could gather and get to know one another.
An Invitation
